During the Scripture and Theology Conference, biblical scholars and theologians gather together in conversation about a particular text, exploring how exegesis and theology meet, critique, and inform each other.

Symposiums

Every other year, biblical studies faculty and PhD candidates collaborate to host the St Andrews Symposium for Ancient Jewish and Early Christian Studies, attracting top scholars and students from around the world.

St Andrews-Zürich Seminars

The University of St-Andrews–University of Zürich Doctoral Seminar brings together divinity postgraduates and faculty from both institutions in two parts. Participants first gather in January at the University of Zürich for sessions related to Hebrew Bible and Ancient Judaism, then reconvene in June at the University of St Andrews for sessions focused on New Testament and Early Christianity.
